This less often found lovely German doll is a great example of one of the early 900 series by master dollmaker Simon & Halbig. She has a pouty face with full cheeks, closed mouth and rosy cheeks. Her bisque is very fine and is without cracks, hairlines or restoration. There are two superficial wig pulls on the upper rim as the pictures show. She has set, brown glass paperweight eyes. She has a sturdy straight wristed Sonnenberg composition body with original finish. Her mohair wig is also original.

Marks: Incised on the back of the head is S 11H, indicating the firm Simon & Halbig and her size. She is marked with her mold number 949. Her Body is unmarked.

She is costumed in an original factory dress, antique underwear and shoes. Her outfit is completed by a unique antique hat with embroidery and flowers in pale turquoise. Her earrings are Murano glass millefiori beads.
